Green Lantern
By Erik Fromme
What You Should Know: Kyle was tossed into an alternate reality by the malevolent Darkseid, where the dictator hoped Kyle would be host to a fragment of the Anti-Life Equation and in defense of expelling the fragment from himself, Kyle would give the ALE fragment a form that Darkseid could control (similar to what Kyle did w/ Oblivion). Before any of that could happen Metron freed Kyle from that realm, and took the ALE out of Kyle, and kept it for himself. Coming back to earth Kyle dealt with a man who stalked, and kidnapped his girlfriend Jennie-Lynn Hayden. At the same time the Spectre put John Stewart through the emotional ringer (using past events that actually happened), and restored the use of his legs. Needless to say he and Merayn got down. Then the Spectre returned with a mission for Kyle: restore the Green Lantern Corps. This involved a crossover with The Corps (a group of 5 brought together by fate and given rings by a dying Pologachi). This involved the opposing forces of Nero (who died), Power Ring, and the time travelling Parallax (who came when he felt the powers on Oa and the Sun being manipulated). Many battles ensued, resulting in the death of Sleek (a character from the Corps) and Nero. A ringless Kyle was transported back to earth three weeks into the future. The Spectre, yet again gets involved, as he gives John Stewart a power ring... the one formerly worn by Kyle! Meanwhile, Jennie-Lynn was visited by her brother Obsidian under the control of Brainwave, who put her through the ringer but the end result is the use of her long lost Power Pulse.
What's Gonna Happen: Well, Kyle lost everything. Jennie left, he lost his job at the magazine, and he has no ring. So Kyle will be looking for a job, when he finds an open position at a local school for an art teacher. The Qwardians are gonna drop by for tea, and visit the powerless Lantern. Kyle's father Aaron Rayner makes his first appearance in my book, and will be a semi-regular character. The Dark Lantern's origin will be reveal, if not his allegiance. All this, in just one Secret Files & Origins!
Down The Road: Kyle will get the ring back from a John Stewart who has access to the guardian powers given to him from Mosiac. The highly anticipated sequel to the first four issues, now turned trade 'There's a Darkseid to Life', as Metron makes his move against Darkseid with the ALE fragment, and Darkseid returns the favor with his own from Cosmic Odyssey! The Qwardians crown a new yellow ringer (with a twist to boot), and old and new enemies arise. Expect a GL/Flash mini-series also.
GL Anthony Drake
By Erik Fromme
What You Should Know: In 1986, 17-year-old Anthony Drake found a mysterious green ring in an abandoned warehouse while playing with a group of friends. Fourteen years later Sergeant Drake, of the 'Carson City: Special Crimes Unit', suffered a terrible loss. While responding to a situation, where 3 meta human burglars were surrounded in an empty building, his partner Clayton Tooley (to whom Tony was going to be Best Man for in a month) saw the reflected light shinning off of a scope from a rifle, and reacted in enough time to push his partner out of the way of a bullet aimed for him. However, doing so put himself in the path, and the bullet punctured a lung. Clayton was pronounced DOA before he got to the hospital. This ate at Drake, who had the protection of the ring shielding him, and would not have required the actions taken. But Tooley never knew. Going beserk immediately following the shooting, Drake detatched himself from the squad and assualted the metas in the building as Green Lantern. This was the first reported sighting of the GL. Drake was assigned a new partner from Phoenix, Lisa Hunter. Lisa is tough, and by the book, who's not a afraid to get her hands dirty. She's also constantly warding of the not-so-subtle advances of Tony. Things between the two were smooth, but she made no attempt to hide her disdain of meta-humans (blaming them for not saving her home Coast City from destruction), and this caused a little rift between Tony and Lisa as he had to keep his ID secret from her. Well, Lisa slowly put the pieces together, and when Tony returned from his first meeting with the JLA, she was waiting for him in his apt with her gun drawn on him, with golden bullets (researched from the conflict between GLAD and Deadshot - Deadshot #5). Things were never the same since then, but the situation was diffused, and Tony covered the whole thing up. Then, Lex Luthor came to town (there's more history with Lex and CC that I won't go into) seeking the aid of GLAD (Luthor knows that Drake is GL, again from the Deadshot conflict), and he attempted to blackmail AD to stealing something that will garauntee him the next election. AD doesn't cooperate, and Lex gives the go ahead for Deathstroke to target AD's parents... a tragic lesson that you don't cross Lex. Drake did get the chance to say goodbye as an ancient being known as Death (not a name I came up with) transported him to a realm where the dead wander: The Ghost Roads. Also check out the mini-series' Dead Ringer, Dead Ringer II, and Might & Magic. Also, fresh from being dead, Drakes old partner Clayton Tooley has returned to life, only to have his shoes stolen by a homeless man in an alley.
What's Gonna Happen: Well, in the short term a man from Lisa's past makes a return appearance to help Drake get the loud mouth shock jock Erratic Erik off of the officers back, stemming from an incident in GLAD #7. Lisa remains cold to Drake, but works with him as it's her job to. They'll slowly work their relationship out (work relationship). Drake will come face to face with his old partner, and will attempt to come to grips with that (yes there is a reason for him to be back, and it'll be nuts).
Down The Road: A teamup with Red Tornado, as wicked weather tears the state of Arizona asunder. Then Vandal Savage shows up to exact his plans on Green Lantern, because Tony ruined Vandals plans back in the days of Camelot (M&M) by returning Drake's lost love, the niece of King Arthur. Then the Main Man makes Carson City his vacation spot and ain't nobody gonna tell the Bastich he can't park his bike in that fraggin' handicapped spot. Also, expect some SCU business mixed in like normal. More involvement with the immortal Roland (Dead Ringer & Dead Ringer II), and his twisted plans. Also, expect a crossover with Power Ring from the Anti-Matter Universe (as GL#12 exposed his ID to be of that universes AD). And, add another crossover with Clock King to the list (check out Brave & the Bold #23 for their first meeting).

Robin
By Kelen Conley
What You Should Know: After coming to terms with having his identity revealed to his girlfriend Stephanie Brown aka Spoiler by Batman, Tim Drake was attacked by a mysterious cult of assassin ninjas known as the Shaolin Clan. The results of that encounter left Batman no choice but to strip Tim of the Robin title and give it to Stephanie. After a battle with her father and a new Spoiler, Stephanie was captured by Riddler, leaving Tim no choice but to don a costume again and put Riddler down with Batgirl, and Alfred's help. With a broken heart and arm, Stephanie relinquished her title as Robin and moved to the midwest, away from Tim. With his father transferring Tim back to Gotham Heights High away from Brentwood Academy, now all Tim has to worry about is how his stepmom feels since she now knows he's the Boy Wonder!

An underground superhero betting ring has formed and the stakes with each fist thrown. Plus, Tim meets someone new, but is her intentions as good as they seem?
