What You Should Know: Kayden is a young idealist doctor in Portsmouth City, a city divided into two sections. The Stratos rests above a cloud of pollution, climbing high into the sky. Beneath that layer of cloud, the Subterra is home to the rejects and the poor, unable to afford the rising costs of living amongst the elite and the corporations. Journeying beneath the clouds, Kayden brings aid to the poor, and soon finds himself embroiled in a pharmaceutical corporation's maneuvers to market a new drug -- for a disease they'd just released! Above the cloud, a young reporter begins to break through the hypocrises of the corporations and soon finds herself the target.

What's Gonna Happen: Blinding in a pool of waste, Kayden is forced to guide the disease-riddled survivors up into the Stratos where they might be able to seek aid, but a cleansing crew is on his back. Meanwhile, a mysterious order of monks who pay homage to Portsmouth City's legendary hero may be looking for a successor to that mantle!

Down The Road: The miniseries ends, and a new Dr. Mid-Nite is chosen. Will is Kayden or the reporter? Will either live to tell the tale and bring justice to the city?
