What You Should Know: Ronnie Raymond has returned to New York and enrolled as a theater major at Hunter College (my alma mater, by the way). He ended up investigating, with former girlfriend Doreen Day's help, a murder committed by the lackey of a new, more powerful Hyena.

What's Gonna Happen: "Laughing Last," the first storyline finishes up with issue #3. That issue, sub-titled "Reunification," changes Firestorm's status quo for good--and it's not going to be pretty. We'll be exploring the immediate ramifications of the changes in both FoF ANNUAL #1 and issue #4. In the Annual, Firestorm runs into old adversary Moonbow as she hunts down a white slaver...or is she? And issue #4 will feature the return of Dr. Light,as well as the re-introduction of psychotic ex-classmate Cliff Charmichal. While Cliff got his implants ripped out of him in the pages of SUICIDE SQUAD, we're going to learn the creep still has some power left in him....

Down The Road: The changes in issue #3 will continue to be explored as Firestorm continues crossing paths with older enemies (Bug and Byte, Killer Frost) and new versions of past foes (Plastique, anyone?)
