What You Should Know: Stark/Fujikawa made a take-over bid for Xavier City using the Theatre of Pain, which resulted in death and destruction across the city but ended in failure when the X-Men struck back. Meanwhile, Sorcerer Supreme Victor von Doom has made discoveries about the Phalanx invasion and the imminent arrival of the Harbinger of Set.

What's Gonna Happen: The Harbinger of Set arises, heralding the arrival of the Sons of Set and the destruction of the world and it's up to the heroes of 2099 to do what they can to avert the end of civilisation and the eventual fate of being devoured by the Serpent Godlings.

Down The Road: Whoever lives through the battle will rebuild the world, if there's much left.

Excalibur

What You Should Know: Excalibur's vacant posts have been filled by Honey Lemon, formerly of Big Hero 6, and the new Hellios who is one of twelve Greek super soliders after the death of the prototype. Of course they've all gone nuts and decided to take over the European Union and be masters of their own fate, so the UN team have gone in to kick butt and take names.

What's Gonna Happen: Big battle between the Hellios warriors and Excalibur with the added help of a couple of heroes who juts happened to be by and this'll lead in to the special reunion in X-Force.

Down The Road: Obligatory X-Force/Excalibur crossover before Excalibur join the other world heroes in defeating a major threat to the planet.

Wolverine

What You Should Know: After learning that Viper has concieved his child to be the new host of the Shadow King, Wolverine got together a few old friends to storm the Hydra base and rescue his son, only to meet with more resistance than they realised and failed miserably, with only Elektra escaping.

What's Gonna Happen: Elektra's going to deal with the psionic imprint of Logan that's in her mind, as the Shadow King turns Logan in to the perfect weapon and sends him out to tie up some loose ends.

Down The Road: Hydra's going to make a big move against the planet as the Shadow King unleashes his own `X-Men' to ensure the real X-Men don't interfere.

X-Force

What You Should Know: The team has been fighting a battle on two fronts – one with against a rogue CSA unit headed by Henry Gyrich and the other ensuring the identity of the First Director of SHIELD is kept out of the hands of Nick Fury and Hydra, and both missions have led to another confrontation with some old foes.

What's Gonna Happen: X-Force take on the British Hellfire Club – Joseph Chapman, Samantha Hasard, Lady Fugue and Vortigen Walker, but another enemy has designs on both teams, as the most dangerous man in UK history returns, leading to a special reunion!

Down the road: X-Force will become the blueprint for the next stage in the SHIELD metahuman programme, as well as dealing with a major crisis or two.
